What We Offer
We love sharing our love of Mahjong! We offer lessons, events and parties. Our boutique offers mahjong tiles and accessories plus gift items for anyone on your list!
Mahj 101 & 102 – classes last 2.5 hours and are offered at various times throughout the year. In 101 you will learn the basics and play a game, in 102 you will learn strategy and how to grow your game. We also offer a Boot Camp, which is a combo of the two classes that lasts 4 hours.
We sell tiles, mats, racks, bags, party supplies and accessories from our favorite brands. Stop in the Studio any time there is open play!
Our Studio offers open play during the day and in the evening at various times. Please see our Classes & Events page for our schedule.
Once you have taken Mahj 101 (and hopefully 102) you can join our league! Meet new friends and play a series of games over a few weeks.
Our monthly membership allows members to come to Open Play for no cost and offers other benefits including discounts on classes, events, and more.
Grab a group of your friends and we will come to you! Think book club, bachelorette party, birthday party, holidays and more! We bring all the tiles, cards and tables needed to play. Minimum of 8 people.
Meet Anna!
Anna's love for Mahjong runs deep, and it's that passion — along with a desire to build community — that led her to found The Mahj Society and bring the joy of American Mahjong to Fort Bend County.
She believes Mahjong is more than a game — it's a way to connect, laugh, and build lasting friendships. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, Anna is here to guide you tile by tile.
The Mahj Society offers Mahj 101, Mahj 102, themed events, leagues, and private parties — all taught with warmth, patience, and a whole lot of fun.
